6 Reasons I'm 'Sorry Not Sorry' For Obsessing Over Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato has given us so many amazing things. Who doesn't love "Camp Rock?" And her new music? It's incredible. But she is an icon for so many reasons.

1. She has been through so much and came out so strong

She shared so much with the world when she came out with her documentary, in which she discussed her struggles with drugs, with stress, and so much more. It just made me love her so much more.

2. She is such a good singer

There isn't much more to say about this. It's hard to not absolutely love her voice.

3. She dated Joe Jonas

She dated him despite how unusually wet his lips looked during the Final Jam at Camp Rock. Good for both of them.

4. Her body gives me life

She has struggled with her weight in the past, but you would never know. She is looking great.

5. She taught us to never be ashamed of our moms

If your mom isn't the president of Hot Tunes TV, that's okay. When she sang, "This is real, this is me. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be," I think we all felt that.

6. "Sorry Not Sorry" Demi was everything

Has anyone ever pulled off a ponytail so well? No. This Demi Lovato was what we all needed.

Overall, Demi Lovato is so important. If you don't love her, you will probably never love at all.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
