This Friday, Dan + Shay is coming to Madison for a concert and I could not be more excited. I'm a huge country music fan and an even bigger Dan + Shay fan. And because it's finally starting to get nice out, country music is the best to listen when the sun is shining and Dan + Shay has so many songs that are perfect for sunny days. So in order to get ready for the concert and immerse myself in their songs, I thought I'd rank my favorite Dan + Shay songs. Although this may be my own ranking of the songs, I think its a pretty good benchmark for anyone who also loves Dan + Shay too.

1. "Speechless"

If the song alone doesn't put you in your feels, watch the music video because it will put you even more in your feels. This song and video together gives me wedding envy and makes me forever wish someone would write a song like this for me. This is definitely a feel good song.

2. "Tequila"

This song has to be next because its one of the best songs to sing your heart out to no matter where you are. Whether its a hot summer day singing this song with your friends with the windows down, or you're really stuck on one memory, this song speaks to you.

3. "Nothin' Like You"

Next is "Nothin' Like You" because its an oldie that is so so good. This is one of the first Dan + Shay songs I listened too and fell in love with so it will always hold a special place in my heart. It has such an upbeat tune and meaning that it will instantly put you in a good mood too.

4. "Alone Together"

"Alone Together" makes you feel a little extra special when you listen to it. Even better imagine Dan and Shay themselves singing this to you, and it's even better. We all need to feel special, and this song makes you feel that way.

5. "From the Ground Up"

This song has a super sweet meaning about building love and trust, which makes it such a good song to put you in a hopeful mood. If you want to feel the love listen to this song and you will feel loved by Dan + Shay.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
