Christmas is right around the corner and everyone has their decorations up, they're baking holiday cookies, they're gift shopping, and they're listening to Christmas music 24/7. New Christmas songs are released each holiday season and new artists try every year to come out with a Christmas album. Here are a few of my top favorite Christmas songs in no particular order.

1. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

This song, no matter who the artist is, is so beautiful and relaxing. You can never go wrong with this on your Christmas playlist this holiday season. Here's a wonderful version by Frank Sinatra.

2. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

This song, of course, is beautiful no matter who the artist is. But, Michael Buble has a beautiful voice for Christmas music, so he certainly gives us a gorgeous performance of it.

3. Christmas Eve - Justin Bieber

I may be biased but Justin Bieber has another voice that works beautifully with Christmas music. "Christmas Eve" was unfortunately not a single from this album and therefore is less popular than his hit "Mistletoe," but I still think it is by far his best Christmas Song!

4. All I Want For Christmas is You - Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is the queen of Christmas music. Of course, she made the list. (Her version of this song she did with Justin Bieber is even better!)

5. Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCartney

This song is so upbeat and cheerful, it's exactly what Christmas is supposed to be!

6. White Christmas

An incredible peaceful Christmas song that everyone has to listen to at least once each holiday season! Maybe it resonates with all of us because it just doesn't feel like Christmas without snow! Here is Kelly Clarkson's version of the song!

7. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Andy Williams with a Christmas classic, for sure!

8. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch

Songs from Christmas movie classics make for obvious Christmas music classics, as well! It's not the holidays unless you watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and listen to this song!

9. Believe - Josh Groban

"Believe" is such a beautiful song (for more reasons than just Josh Groban's beautiful voice)! It also encompasses everything Christmas is supposed to be about!

10. A Holly Holly Christmas

Another genuinely positive, upbeat Christmas song! This is one of those songs you find yourself singing under your breath during the season because it's just so fun.

11. Let it Snow

I I guarantee you find yourself singing this one during the season, as well! It has a nice Christmassy vibe that's a nice mixture of peaceful but still a little upbeat and fun!

12. Fa La La [a cappella] - Justin Bieber ft. Boyz II Men

I tried my best to not put Justin's entire "Under the Mistletoe" album on this list, so I settled for two songs. This song, the a cappella version especially, is so vocally beautiful and can put anyone in the Christmas spirit. And it's nothing but vocals!

13. Do You Hear What I Hear?

Carrie Underwood has a beautiful voice for a beautiful and meaningful Christmas song!

14. The Christmas Song

This song makes me feel like I'm already curled up by the fire with a cozy blanket, hot chocolate, and a few gifts are being exchanged between family. Nat King Cole really puts us in the Christmas spirit!

15. Winter Wonderland

A song that surely makes us feel like the bad, snowy weather is a little bit merrier!

10 Truths About Being In A Sorority

(For Girls Who Are Interested In Greek Life)

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
