The Best Childhood Shows Of All Time

Remembering the shows we grew up with.

The Best Childhood Shows Of All Time
Disney Channel/Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network

The other day I was hanging out with my thirteen-year-old brother. We wanted to watch TV together and he told me to pick something to watch. I did not find anything on the channels so I went on demand and there I found one of my favorite Disney Channel shows, "That's so Raven." I lost it! I told him “we are watching Raven!”

After I watched one episode with him, he loved it and it made me reminisce my childhood. The show was cheesy, hilarious and innocent. The shows we watched growing up were completely different with the ones airing today. I realized that those shows were popular and aired over ten years ago when I was in elementary and middle school. Now I am on the verge of graduating college and I cannot help but look back and remember those shows. I know I was not the only one who adored them so here is a throwback for you too!

CARTOON NETWORK

NICKELODEON: KIDS

"Cat Dog": Adventures of a dog and cat who are stuck together. (1998)

"Rugrats": Four babies, a snotty cousin and many adventures. (1990)

"Hey Arnold!": Adventures of a fourth grader named Arnold. (1996)

"Rocket Power:" Four friends who play extreme sports and have crazy adventures. (1999)

"Recess": Group of friends and their many adventures in primary school. (1997)

NICKELODEON (CONT.) PRE-TEEN

"As Told by Ginger": Three pre-teen girls trying to fit in and have a social life. (2000)

"The Wild Thornberrys": A family travels around the world to
create nature shows and young girl, Eliza is able to communicate with animals. (1998)

"The Amanda Show": Similar to a variety series that includes comedy skits. (1999)

"Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide": Young boy shares his advice on how to survive middle school. (2004)

"Drake and Josh": A geek and a musician become stepbrothers. (2004)

DISNEY CHANNEL:

"That’s So Raven": Teenage girl receives psychic visions and as she tries to make them come true she lands herself in hilarious situations. (2003)

"Even Stevens": The many adventures of the Stevens family living in Sacramento. (1999)

"Lizzie McGuire": A teenage girl and her two friends have many adventures as they grow up. (2001)

"Proud Family": The Proud family and their many adventures. (2001)

Kim Possible: A teenage girl hero who fights villains and is always accompanied by her friend and his naked mole rat. (2002)

:Sister Sister": Twins were separated at birth but find each other in their teens. (1994)

" Boy Meets World": Young boy in the Mathews family grows up and faces problems with life. (1993)

"Phil of the Future": A family from 2121 is stuck in 2004. (2004)

"The Suite Life of Zack and Cody": Adventures of twins who live in a hotel. (2005)

"Hannah Montana": Teenager lives a double life as a regular teenager and a pop star. (2006)

I did not realize that some of these cartoons and shows aired before the 2000s. It reminded me of the time where I did not have any responsibilities and the only struggle I had was deciding on which channel to watch.

If this list was not enough to throw you back then maybe this will. Disney Channel recently announced that they will air their 100th Disney Channel movie next month. To celebrate, at the end of May they will have a marathon of ALL of the other Disney Channel movies.

You can get more information on this Disney Channel marathon here.
