With Halloween quickly approaching, I find myself surrounded by candy 98% of the time. Ever since I was little, I have been cursed with the worst sweet tooth known to man. No matter what the candy is, if it's in front of me I will probably be eating it. I am a strong believer that if it tastes so good then there's no way there can be calories or anything bad associated with it right? Okay, the scale and your dentist may disagree, but still- candy is by far the best part of the Halloween season. However, candy is also one of those things that now matter what your mood is, it always can make your day a little brighter and your cravings a little bit more satisfied. Whether you're a chocolate lover, or a sweet/sour lover, a quick trip to your local gas station or grocery store will satisfy that craving of yours and turn your day right back around. Halloween is also the best time to rediscover those candies you have totally forgotten how much you truly loved. Here is a list of the best candies you can eat this holiday season, or any time of the year for that matter.

1. Caramel Apple Pops

These lollipops definitely don't get the credit they deserve. Sour apple lollipops covered with a coating of caramel? Not sure if it can get much better than that.

2. Candy Corn

Ah, the classic Halloween candy. These little balls of sugar will for sure satisfy your craving for something sweet while also giving you one of the biggest sugar rushes you could ask for.

3. Fun Dip

Okay...talk about sugar rush. Nothing is better than dipping the sugar stick into a bigger pile of sugar. Oh and not to mention that awesome green/blue tint your lips turn after eating this.

4. M&Ms

These along with other chocolate classics, are often overlooked for how great they truly are. Wanting to satisfy your chocolate craving without eating an entire chocolate bar? A hand full of M&Ms will do the trick.

5. Snickers

Chocolate, peanuts, caramel...is there anything better? And if you're allergic to peanuts...I am so sorry but you truly are missing out.

6. Tootsie Pops

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

7. Smarties

The classic candy that was given out by teachers in elementary school for being a "smarty" in class also makes for a great sugar rush. Still surprised teachers voluntarily give these out to a bunch of wild 8 year olds.

8. Hershey's Chocolate

And lastly, the most classic of them all. No matter what time of year, season, day, or hour, nothing is as satisfying to your sugar needs than a classic Hershey's bar. Whether you want dark chocolate, milk chocolate, caramel filled, almond filled, or just about anything else, Hershey's is the way to go.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
