Today I threw a few ingredients together to make some home made ice cream/acai bowl/smoothie, whatever you want to call it and it was so absolutely delicious that I couldn't not share it!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop of whey protein
- Hand full of frozen strawberries
- Hand full of frozen blueberries
- 5 or so ice cubes
- Chia seeds for topping
Directions:
- Put all ingredients in a blender and pulse
- Add the ice cubes last, little by little until you get your desired consistency
- Top with chia seeds (You'll want to mix them in before indulging because you reap the most benefits of chia seeds when they're saturated)
