Spring break is right around the corner. Most college students realize they do not have enough money to go anywhere. Many might be upset because some of their friends are going away, but after you read these five benefits you'll be happy you are going home.

1. FREE food.

Yes I said it free food. The thing most people spend all their money on. There is an unlimited of free food in your house back at home.

2. Home-cooked meals.

Another great part about going home is momma’s cooking. Think about the dinners. Think about how much better they are going to be then dining hall, and better then any place you would’ve been eating. Nothing beats home cooking.

3. Clean beds.

That’s right: no risk of bed bugs at some hotel you have never heard of. No rock hard uncomfortable mattresses either. You get to have nice clean sheets and cuddle up in your comfy bed.

4. You do not come out more broke than you already were.

When you go home you most definitely do not spend as much money as you would if you went somewhere. Your bank account will definitely be happy with you.

5. You’ll make your mom and dad happy.

We all know that our parents miss us a lot when we are at college, and that we miss them. They will be grinning ear to ear while hugging you (sometimes not letting go). They will be pleased because they won’t have to worry about you being somewhere even further than school.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
