5 Benefits Of Exercising Daily And Staying Physically Fit In This Digital Era

In This Article:

Everyone has their own perspective when it comes to fitness. In this 21st century, which is considered the digital era, where people barely have any time for extra activities, most of their tasks can be done with the help of machines. We are not taking care of our bodies. Fitness means following a healthy diet and being in shape. Here are some reasons why being fit is so crucial in today's era.

1. Improves self-esteem

Well, you cannot deny the fact that being healthy and fit gives you a better body shape juxtaposed to others. When you live comfortably with your body shape and appearance, this automatically uplifts your self-confidence. And nowadays, being a confident person is one of the most crucial characteristics that one should have in their personality. Therefore, fitness not only contributes to your good body shape but is also linked to self-confidence, which makes it an important part of your life.

2. Helps burn fat

Have you ever heard about visceral fat? This is the internal fat, which you can easily reduce with the help of a few physical exercises. You must be aware of the fact that excessive fat in your body can bring some major diseases with it such as a heart attack. Regular physical exercises can make your heart stronger and can even uplift the contractile function. Isn't it great that by maintaining a proper and healthy diet along with some exercises on a daily basis can keep you fit and healthy?

3. Reduces anxiety and depression

Make it a rule of your daily routine that "I won't go a day without exercise." Exercising on a daily basis not just helps in reducing fat but also works as a mood elevator. And the best part of doing these daily exercises is that it affects the same way anti-depressant does in a person's mind.

And this ultimately means that good physical fitness helps in fighting anxiety and depression, which are nowadays the most common problems faced by maximum people. So why not go for such a simple way to keep you physically and mentally fit rather than taking any pricey anti-depressant?

4. Increases energy levels

According to the research, it is now proven that when you work out regularly it increases your energy level. And when it is been proven then there's no need to taking any expensive energy drink or a large amount of caffeine for gaining more energy. Simply do not forget the rule mentioned above and it's done. This 21st century says that if you want to be the kind of person, who is full of life and can enjoy every moment of his life, you need to remain fit and energetic.

5. Keeps blood pressure low

High blood pressure has now become so common that every second person is a victim of this problem. We are not only talking about elderly people but also the middle-aged men and women. In fact, young people are also now becoming the victim of high blood pressure.

The major reason for such problem is stress and a lot of tensions we people usually take and it might be due to political conditions or economic stability of the system. Again, the only solution to this is performing exercises on a daily basis. So, being fit again becomes a reason for a good life and of course, reducing the risk of having high blood pressure.

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
