Benefit Soft & Natural Brows Review

I had the honor of attending the new Benefit brow products release in Paris, France over the summer and I purchased one of the kits at Sephora, Paris for 37,50€. The kit I purchased was Soft & Natural Brows which included the goof proof brow pencil, ready, set, brow gel, two shaping stencils with a tool and high brow pencil. I don’t believe that this kit is available anywhere in town at the moment or online, but you can purchase each individual product separately in stores at Ulta or Sephora.

The package came in a pink tin box with “Soft & Natural Brows” on the front. There are two other kits: Big & Bolder brows and Defined & Refined brows, which I did not purchase.

READY, SET, BROW!

This is my favorite brow gel so far because it shapes my brows out evenly and keeps them spotless and sleek all day. One time it was raining and I came back home with my brow hair still in place! It is translucent on the brows and hardens fairly quickly.

GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL

The diamond-chiseled, retractable pencil is double sided with a spoolie brush on the other end. This pencil is similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow wiz in my opinion. I think that the chiseled feature is great for creating a neat brow tail end without having to use concealer to clean up the ends -hence the infamous name “goof proof brow pencil.”

HIGH BROW

I’m not a big fan of this product simply because I felt that the shade provided was too light for my skin tone. But it is also because I prefer my brow highlighter to be more subtle and easy to blend. Although the application was smooth on my skin, the finish looked powdery to me.

SHAPING STENCILS WITH A TOOL

I don’t use shaping stencils much but for anyone who relies on them, I think that this is a good tool. I don’t think it’s the best but it’s certainly practical to have. The two stencils are arched brows and straight brows with two-sided looks. It can be inserted in the provided tool for stability.

5 Untold Struggles Of The Short Friend

I'm the Short Friend. I've been the Short Friend since about the seventh grade. I'm the one who stands in the front of the photos, gets made fun of for their height, and still shops in the kids department.

This article is not for the Almost Short Friends, i.e. the 5'3" and 5'4" Friends. No no, this is for the Actually Short Friends, i.e. the Barely Scraping 5'1" and shorter Short Friends.

11 Things All Call Center Workers Can Empathize With Better Than Anyone
Youtube

This semester I started my journey as a member of my University's Alumni Outreach Team. This means a lot of things, but primarily it means that I get to make phone calls to parents and alumni two nights a week to update contact information, collect things like business cards and volunteer hours, and even ask for money.
