Everyone that goes to Disney World has favorite rides. The rides that make you smile bigger than you ever thought possible and feel immensely happy. I'd bet that one of these rides is your favorite.

1. Space Mountain

No matter what age you are, Space Mountain is amazing. The darkness and speed of the ride makes you feel like you're actually blasting off right into space! I've ridden this ride 10 times in a row and it never ever gets old.

2. Jungle Cruise

Okay, so you ride Space Mountain for the thrills, but you ride Jungle Cruise for the kicks and giggles. Is it fast paced? No. Is it high-tech? Definitely not. But are the jokes good?? Okay, not really. But they're endearing and that's what really counts!

3. Expedition Everest

Another one of those thrilling coasters! Anyone who has ridden it will tell you that there are two surprises, and one of them will almost take your head off.

4. Star Tours

This one is definitely for those Star Wars fans out there! It's gotten a few upgrades most recently, so it's at the best it's almost ever been! Best part of the new Star Tours? No ride is ever the same!

5. Splash Mountain

Splash Mountain is what you'd get if you combined Space Mountain and Jungle Cruise. A laughable experience that will, at times, put you on the edge of your seat (if only to keep from getting wet).

6. Haunted Mansion

Haunted Mansion is a spooky experience the whole family can enjoy! But be careful - you might find yourself going home with a hitch hiking ghost!

7. Spaceship Earth

OK, OK so maybe I'm a little biased because I'm a History major. But, I have always loved Spaceship Earth! The idea of getting to go into, what I lovingly called, The Golf Ball, ride around and learn about history, and then play around a little and discover stuff about technology is pretty awesome to me!

8. Pirates of the Caribbean

Okay, Pirates of the Caribbean can be hokey. Some people might not like the animatronics and might find the whole thing unbelievable, and maybe even a little annoying after the third round of "Yo Ho." But to the true Disney faithfuls, Pirates is a classic and a tradition. From wanting the red head to trying convince the dog to come to you, everyone loves Pirates.

9. Soarin'

Soarin' is a much more recent addition to Disney World, but it has swiftly made its way into our hearts. On this amazing ride you fly all over, and even out of, this world! The scents, wind, and screen make it look and feel all too real.

10. Kilimanjaro Safaris

Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of those rides that you feel like someone definitely should have gotten a promotion for thinking up. Honestly, who thinks of putting an African safari in the middle of Florida?! It's not just that you get to see elephants, hippos, lions, tigers, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wart hogs, ostriches, and much more - it honestly looks like any normal American would imagine the African safari looking. Right down to the unstable bridges.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
