The Power of Believing in Your Greatness

A simple idea that can transform your life forever.

The Power of Believing in Your Greatness

As Bob Proctor once said, "If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand."

It all begins with one thought: a clear understanding of the personal power we have in writing your own stories and in turning the unthinkable into our daily realities.

Oftentimes we get so caught up with the idea of instant gratification that we forget about the value that exists in the journey towards the life of our dreams. A journey which not only fuels personal growth (as every experience allows us to learn more about who are as individuals), but also inches us closer to our ultimate goals and aspirations. We also tend to forget about how powerful we are and the incredible things we can accomplish by believing in our potential.

I have discovered though, that life tends to present us with unforeseen experiences ("challenges" as some may say) that will push us beyond our comfort zone and will truly test our determination to achieving something great. Something that will pave the way for others. Something that is way bigger than you or me. Something that will leave a legacy.

How can you remain motivated through these challenges you may ask? Remember that every challenge is temporary, and your current adversities are only preparing you for the endless success that is heading your way. Envisioning your success before it is even tangible and having faith in your progress along the way, will give you the tools to embark on new experiences with full confidence that you will come out on top. Furthermore, it will allow you to live in the moment and embrace every situation with an open mind rather than urging you to rush to the next moment.

Therefore, I encourage you to remain patient, have faith in your vision, trust the process, and believe in your ability to reach the unthinkable. There's greatness within you, remember that!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
