I've decided, after 16 years of practice, that I believe in growing up. I can look back 10 years, and I am not the same. I can look back five years, and I have changed, I can look back one year, one month, one day, and see how I have grown and changed.
Some may think people don't change. I have to disagree. If I never changed I would still be the elementary school student who interrupted the teacher. The kid who was a bossy leader. I would still have horrible hand writing, and a hate for all sports. If I would have never changed, I would not be the person I am today.
Over the years I have grown and changed physically, socially, and internally. Although not all of experiences that stimulated me to grow and change have been pleasant they have all made me a better and stronger person.
I believe that people can change. I believe that anyone can turn around their lives by turning around themselves. If you give people the chance to change they may surprise you. I believe you are never done growing up. Just because you are an adult, does not mean you have an excuse to not grow as a person. I believe that until the day you die you are constantly growing and changing.
