If you have ever gotten the chance to be VIP for one of your favorite bands or artists, you know it's something that you'll never forget. Recently, I had the chance to have a meet and greet on Vance Joy's "The Fire and the Flood" tour.
I found out around the beginning of the semester that I would be getting two meet and greets and tickets to the show. I had recently met him outside of Heinz Field at the "1989" tour and had only enough time to hug him and quickly get a picture (which he actually liked on Instagram and put on his website!). I couldn't believe that I was given the chance to actually get to meet him again. Flash forward to the show day, I was feeling lots of emotions and if you've ever been VIP you'll understand:
1. Getting your passes/tickets
2. Waiting in line
3. Getting inside the venue
4. When your favorite finally gets on stage
5. When the show ends, and you aren't sad because you are going to meet them
6. When they are in your presence
7. When you leave, and you are trying to hold your emotions in
8. When you're on the way home, and you can't believe what just happened
So that was basically my experience and this is a reoccurring thing. I hope you all get the chance to meet your favorites one day!
