My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for four years now, ever since college. He got drafted our junior year of college and travels often so it is difficult for us to make time with both of our busy schedules, but when a month, or two, or even three go by and we finally get to see each other it's the best thing ever to finally be reunited. We've been doing this for a long time, so we're basically professionals by now, but it still never gets easier.

1. The weeks and days leading up to seeing each other you both get really excited.

2. Traveling the day of is the longest day of your life because you're so excited.

3. You get lots of butterflies before you see each other.

4. At random times you smile like a little kid in a candy store. 

5. Time stops when you finally see them for the first time.

6. Being wrapped in their arms for the first time and never wanting to let go cause you feel at home.
