Being A Girl Who Understands Hockey

Yes I understand hockey, and yes I'm a girl

Being a girl is hard enough, but being a girl who likes sports makes it even harder.

"You only watch hockey so boys think you're hot," and "You only watch sports because you think the guys are cute," are things you just get used to hearing. You're used to being called a puck bunny and just learn to turn your head whenever you hear someone say it because you're so used to it being said to you.

Most of the time, whenever you say something about sports, boys try to argue with you because they think you have no idea what you're talking about. Your idea of a perfect date is going to a game instead of going to the movies or the mall.

Guys tend not to believe you when you say you watch hockey because it's not a sport that most girls watch.

If you're a girl and like a player that most people tend not to like they assume it's because he's cute, even though this might be a little part of it but mostly it's because they are actually a decent player.

Being a girl who is majoring in sports management is hard as well because you're constantly getting told that you will never find a job due to the fact that you're a girl.

As I was writing this a guy actually said to be "if you need any help let me know I love sports."

So all in all being a girl who likes sports is a struggle.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
