Every family has their very own black sheep. You know, the 'thorn among the roses' , the 'palm tree in the midst of the redwoods', you get the idea.
But, judging from my own experience, is it truly bad to think of yourself as being the odd one out in the family? I don't think so. In fact, being labelled as such may prove that 1) you aren't afraid to think for yourself and not simply go through the motions and blankly accept whatever everyone else is doing as the normal and right thing to do, and 2) you are competent enough to be able to decide for yourself how to live or how to think or how to be. Both things are something to truly be proud of in this world nowadays.
So if you consider yourself to be the black sheep of your family, do not be dismayed, for you are obviously doing something right.
