Throughout these past few years of my life I have genuinely started to appreciate everything I have been blessed with. One thing in particular, the teams I have been a part of. Many people think that a team is just a group of people that work with each other and share similar interests, but little do they know its a whole lot more than that. I believe that there is something so eye opening about being apart of a team that everyone should experience at some point in their life. Throughout your life, being supported and cared for is an essential and being on a team, (whatever the team may be) will get you there.

To me, a team is a family. Although being apart of a team means you do have to work with people you're not accustomed to, it opens your eyes to new people and new experiences that can benefit you in the long run and in most cases bring your team closer to one another, turning them into more of a family than just people you are forced to work with. A team is a group of people that works together to get the job done no matter the challenge. They know the weirdest and craziest things about you and care about you endlessly. For me, I wouldn't give up being on a team for the world. Frequently, people think, "Oh, I'm not a part of a team, Ive never played a sport." Well many times thats not the case. I consider teams varying from sports teams to co-workers, to classmates, to various other people that work together to accomplish something. As a recent high school graduate, these last couple weeks have opened my eyes and showed me what being on a team really means through constant bonding experiences. Through these tactics we have come together as a class and learned to appreciate and work with one another, like a team would.

I would do anything to go back and be on a team as closely knit and amiable as my field hockey team. From the constant jokes and never ending laughter to the motivation and support on and off the field. You could never find a group of better girls than this one, and I am forever grateful to have had the opportunity to be apart of it. Being apart of a team is extremely important in everyday life, both socially and mentally. For me, my team was my motivation and my determination both on the field and in school, they pushed me to be the best version of myself. On the field we helped each other learn new skills and perfect our old ones and to reach our goal of making it as far as we could in play offs. But, as time goes on I have accepted that all things must come to an end and I am so excited to work with my new team at the Odyssey and bring on new challenges I have never experienced before.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
