So you have one week left in your Christmas break, you've already gone through your Christmas traditions and celebrated the New Year but somehow you are still left feeling as if you've accomplished nothing over the break, here is how to fix that.
1. Finished something you started
GiphyIf you are like most people and start a project with the purest intentions of finishing it all at once, only to have to leave the project incomplete part of the way through and never find the time to come back to it. Finish it. You will find the time to do so, it doesn't matter if it is assembling something or just cleaning your room, finishing it will only be good.
2. Get lunch with a friend from high school
GiphyMany leave high school friends behind when they go to college, but that is not always the best thing to do. Your high school friends, while maybe not in contact as much as you used to be, still care about you, and talking to them makes sure both sides aren't lost due to time.
3. Be with your family
GiphyThe holidays are the perfect time to spend time with your family, who also care about you. It might be your parents, your grandparents, an aunt or an uncle who just want to spend some time with you. Being removed from situations as we are in college lends us to be detached from our families, and reconnecting with them even if just for an hour or two might mean the world to them.
4. Exercise
GiphyLiving on or near a large campus lends us the ease of getting a lot of steps in every day, but when we go back to our homes and tend to just lay and watch Netflix most of the time. Getting outside and going on a walk or a jog through your neighborhood or around a track is a good way to feel like you've done something good and boost your mood.
