In China, there is no law restricting the age of drinking alcohol. The law only states that stores can not sale alcoholic beverages to minors. So, my friends, you are of age in China. If you guys ever come and want to experience night life in Beijing, here are some of my recommendations.

Club Mix

Club mix is famous for their hip, pop dance music. They invite famous DJs in the clubs, Chinese and foreign. It is the hottest place in Beijing at night. If you are looking for somewhere to dance, that's where you should go.

VICS Club

Another club for you dancers out there. VICS opened in 2000. It is a club that uses Hip Hop and R&B not far from Club Mix. It is not just a dance club, it is also a venue that holds fashion parties and business conferences. Sometimes they have theme parties, like frat parties. My suggestion is: go bar hopping in both clubs, see which one you like more.

Groovy Schiller’s

As you can see from the name, it is a German bar in Beijing. It is like a countryside bar in Germany. They play music from German composers. It is a good place to relax and have a beer or two. Their happy hour is from 5pm to 8pm every day, buy one get one free.

Heaven Supermarket

It is not a traditional bar. It’s more like a convenience store full of alcohol, only alcohol. When your favorite Bar is closed after 3am and you didn’t get enough to drink, that's where you go. It is a pretty unique place. And the price is good.

Salsa Caribe

This place is famous for their Latin music and if you like salsa dancing. That is where it’s at. They have a house Latin band. Pretty neat.
