Being a student makes it quite difficult to be caught up on the latest episodes of any show. But for some reason, being behind on "Game of Thrones" is the worst of them all. The episodes are so dense and the following so devout that you become AWARE of missing out on information. Everywhere you go, there is a reminder that you forgot to watch the latest episode of GoT.
1. You hate social media on Mondays.
Being behind on "Game of Thrones" and being online is like jumping off the Wall and hoping you don't break any bones. There's pictures of Jon Snow in articles, jokes about Doors in YouTube videos, and even Reddit is full of fan theories. There is absolutely NO WAY to avoid mentions of "Game of Thrones".
2. You think EVERYTHING is a spoiler.
You have WHAT?
3. You feel isolated from the fandom.
I remember hearing everyone's reactions to "The Red Wedding" when it happened and how it apparently changed everything. But when I watched that episode yesterday, I didn't have anyone to scream about it with. Who do I cry with if my favorite character dies? I don't know anymore.
4. You die a little at each new episode.
What about Jon Snow's butt? What happened with a Door? Who is still alive? I want to know but I don't want to know. I can't TAKE IT ANYMORE.
5. You binge-watch to catch up.
I watched four seasons in one week. Trust me, I can watch 14 more episodes before the season is over.
