Can you hear their screams?

Their begging and pleading foe the pain to sop

Everyday

They wonder

"Is today the day?"

"Will it all finally stop?"

The poking and prodding

The burning and mutilation

The poisoning

The torture

But the fear and agony only become worse

Around and around

They circle behind steel bars

Their pleas are ignored

All for for the sake of "research"

They feel pain just as we do

They bleed just as we do

Alone they suffer

Alone they die
