1. TURMERIC

Tumeric

Turmeric is great for the skin because it is an anti-inflammatory which helps make your skin glow even brighter. Just mix about 2 tablespoons of it with 3-4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and add a little water till you get it to a nice paste. Then apply on skin and let it dry for approximately 15 minutes. Wash off with cold water to close your pores, and then use a makeup remover wipe to remove any excess yellow tint from the turmeric.

2. Aztec Healing Clay

Healing Clay

If you want your face to be clear and all your pores cleaned out then use Aztec healing clay mixed with a little water. This is a powerful mask and it will dry your face out if you leave it on your face too long.

3. Tulsi (Holy Basil)

Tulsi is great on as a toner. Just take a few tulsi leaves and boil it in some water. Then apply to your face as a facial toner. Tulsi is good for acne, scars, skin infections, lightening dark spots, and improving skin texture.

4. Sandalwood Powder

Sandalwood Powder

Sandalwood powder can be bought off of Amazon for around $7.00-$10.00. All you have to do is mix about 3-4 tablespoons of sandalwood powder with a little bit of milk and a tablespoon of honey until it becomes a paste. You could also add 1 tablespoon of turmeric too. Sandalwood is great for removing blemishes, helping dry skin, and reducing the signs of aging.

5. Amla Powder + Coconut Oil

If you experience dandruff you have to try this on your hair. Just take some amla powder in a cup along with some coconut oil (any other oil could also work) and make a paste. Then apply the paste to the skull of your head. Make sure to leave the hair mask on for a couple of hours and then wash it with regular shampoo and conditioner. Apply this mask every 2 weeks. Though you are bound to see results within the first use.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
