As a college student, I don't have much time to do much of anything besides homework and go to class, and I especially don't have much time to focus on my makeup routine in the morning. When I do have time, I have my certain products that I will recommend to anyone and will use until the day I die. In no particular order, these are my favorite products to use.
1. Too Faced HangoverRX Primer
I got this in an Ipsy bag a couple months ago and ended up buying a bigger formula of it. I put this on after I moisturize my face and before I put on my foundation. I find that my skin glows more, and it keeps my makeup from running or smudging.
2. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye
I love this SO much. As a student athlete, I have to appreciate the little sleep that I can get. When I do have a long night of homework, I always end up with bags under my eyes the next morning. The little bit of this that I put under my eyes works wonders.
3. Fit Me By Maybelline
This is something I just recently discovered about a month or so ago, but it will be the only foundation set I will ever use. I have oily skin, and it keeps my skin moisturized without looking oily. The great thing is I have both liquid and powder foundation from this set, and it matches perfectly.
4. Conair Bubble Hair Curler
I HATE to curl my hair. I used to always make my sister or my mom curl it until I discovered this amazing tool. I can either make little curls, big curls, or waves. It's super simple and easy, I just section off my hair and go from there. I wouldn't use any other curler except this one.
5. Redken Extreme Anti-Snap
As someone who straightens and curls my hair on a daily basis, teases it, dyes it,\ and bleaches it, this serum works wonders. I apply about a quarter size to the ends of my hair after I shower and style it as usual. This helps the breakage that I have in my hair. My hair is always so soft after I use this.
6. Hempz Lotion
I started using this because a lady at the tanning salon had recommended it. Although I stopped tanning, I still love to use this. It doesn't leave my body with a sticky feeling and it keeps my skin moisturized all day. Plus the different scents are amazing.
7. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I won't use any other mascara than this one. I love how long and curly it makes my lashes look. It isn't awful to get off like a majority of mascaras I've tried. It stays on when I need it, and it's easy to come off when I need it.
8. Big Sexy Hairspray
Realistically, all hairspray is the same. But what makes this hairspray different is the really nice scent, and I find my hair staying perfectly through sweat, rain, and anything else the day throws my way.
9. Epielle Green Tea Makeup Wipes
These are super cheap and they're the only makeup remover wipes I will use. I love the way they make my skin feel, and I don't have to rub super hard to get anything off, especially eye makeup. They come in big resealable packs and they last so long.
10. Murad
I bought this from Sephora on a whim and I will never use anything else. This 3 step treatment works wonders for my acne. The first step is a face wash, the next steps are different moisturizers that I put on to make my skin super soft and moisturized before I apply my daily makeup.
11. Neutrogena Acne Moisturizer
I put this on before bed, after I use my green tea makeup wipes. I have the pink grapefruit scent and it is amazing. It doesn't make my skin feel sticky and it's a good overnight moisturizer.
12. Wet n Wild Setting Spray
As an athlete who has to wear makeup during games, I highly recommend this. It keeps my makeup on FOREVER. I literally have done my full makeup and taken a nap and woken up and nothing had budged. It can withstand sweat, rain and snow. It's so much cheaper than Urban Decay and you won't regret it.
13. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
This is the only Urban Decay product that I recommend using, and I like it because it can come in a smaller formula. I have times where I forget to use this and my eyeshadow becomes smudged and cakey. It works so well and even helps with eyeliner.
14. Beauty Blender
I will only buy an off brand egg. They work the same and spending $20 for one seems ridiculous. They're available on amazon and work great with primer, concealer, and my bye bye under-eye. They're so easy to clean as well!
15. Burts Bees Tinted Chapstick
I keep this in my purse all the time. Sometimes I don't want to wear regular lipstick, so I'll use this to keep my lips moisturized and a cute color. It never looks cakey and it comes in so many different colors.
