Everyone has that one country they would love to visit in their lifetime. People ask me frequently about where I would want to travel to and as much as I would enjoy going everywhere, the only place that really tops it for me is Venice, Italy, The City of Love.
The beauty within the city is captivating and people that visit fall in love with it instantly. The fresh air and countryside give it the vibrancy that makes the whole city spark with wonder. There are so many things to look out in Italy, which makes it one of the top tourist sites.
There is, surprisingly, more background about Italy other than it being the home for their famous worldwide delicacy, pizza. One thing you may not have known is that Italy has the most beaches in Europe with its 7,400 km coastline along with many marine parks as well. As we assume that the beauty is merely in the countryside, there are cities that capture the essence of beauty of Italy, in another light.
In Rome, for instance, the Jewish Ghetto actually acquires the most expensive real estate in the city. Rome, The Eternal City, is the largest city in all of Italia (2.8 million) with Milan coming up close (1.3 million). The city is known extremely for the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum, making it one of the 50 most popular tourist attractions worldwide.
Aside from the attractions, food is very prominent when talking about Italy. Italian farms mainly produce grapes, soybeans, potatoes, sugar beets, soybeans and olives. Apart from pizza being brought up, ice-cream cones were introduced with it. Did I mention they came up with expresso machines too? The everyday food and machines that were made is so communal now, we do not think about where it even originated from. Another important invention, eyeglasses, worn by approximately 61% of people in the world, was originated in Italy near the 1270's.
Along with its beauty and enriching influence, the best works of literature was produced in this country. Shakespeare’s most popular works were all set in Italia, including Romeo and Juliet, Othello and Much Ado About Nothing. Surprisingly, no evidence was shown that Shakespeare ever even visited Italy, although, he did display the country as a fictional historical figure through his descriptions of towns in Verona, Venice and Rome.
Even If I continuously write novels and articles about the immeasurable beauty of Italy and its history, no words will display the exquisiteness until one goes and experience it for themselves. Italy also has the most hotel rooms in the nation of Europe, so when you finally decide to go explore the beautiful city, they got you covered.
