Find beauty in the brokenness.
The beauty is in the details. I love taking photographs of things that seem ordinary or something most would usually just pass by unnoticed and then being able to not only capture the beauty in it, but also be able to show the beauty that I see.
When photographing people, my main focus and interest is capturing my subjects expression perfectly. I find that not just people, but all things, living and not living, have their own expression. Although these pieces of wood once possessed life, they still shown artistic expression that I love being able to capture. While passing by, these images in their original state may seem like a broken panel or a hole in an unpainted barn, this is what my lens and I see. Everything in life has beauty. You just have to look for it and often in places you would not normally look, you find the most.
