Many of us have been able to re-live our childhood with the latest Disney movie which is based on one of its most popular fairytale stories. People rushed to the theaters over the weekend to be some of the first to see the film. Are you unsure about seeing the film for yourself while it's in the theaters? Many people are, but I think it was worth the trip to the movies to see the film.

The story behind Beauty and the Beast remained mostly the same in the new movie, yet it was not boring in the least. The scenes were full of action and suspense at the right times and these scenes kept you on your toes even if you knew what was going to happen. Throughout the movie, I kept wondering if there were going to be any twists to make the film different from the classic story which made it all the more interesting to watch.

The characters were brought to life by the actors beautifully. Emma Watson made the perfect Belle and her Beast was portrayed excellently. The household items that came to life were just the right amount of humorous and caring towards Belle and the Beast. Each actor was able to become their character and show us the classic story we all know well.

The costumes that were used in the film were extraordinary. All of the costumes brought the story to life in a way that not many stories can be. Each article of clothing fit into the film and made the movie all we were hoping it would be. My personal favorite was Belle's famous yellow ball gown. It looked like they picked it right out of the story.

If you enjoyed the animated Beauty and the Beast film which was released by Disney in 1991, this adaptation is worth the trip to the movie theater. It was a great way to re-live the past and enjoy Disney's new technologies and talents.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
