OK, so you're technically considered "too old" for trick-or-treating, but that doesn't mean you can't dress up and have a blast on Halloween (Alright, Halloween is on a Monday this year, so maybe not the night of, but definitely the weekends before and after or, like, I don't know.. the entire month of October?). These 13 looks are stunning, and if anyone has the nerve to go as far as to tell you that you are too old to dress up, look them in the face with your glittery, false-eyelash-wearing eyes and say, "I'm not actually dressed up, my makeup is done," because with these looks, you don't actually need any special clothes. So go find a cute black top and some leggings and prime your face for what's coming next.
1. Lioness.
Go crazy with gold with this one, and pile on the gold jewelry for a really cool, strong lioness costume.
2. Ice Princess? Really Cold?
OK yes, this looks complicated, but just use a lot of highlighter and blue tones for a frosty look.(Bonus points for glitter!!)
3. Comic book character.
Use the end of a makeup brush to dot on red or white dots, and then just outline your features with eyeliner and BOOM!
4. Scarecrow.
This is so cute and simple if these other looks are overwhelming you.
5. Mermaid.
Life hack: Use FISHNETS over your face and then apply the colorful eyeshadow over it for a really cool scaley look that looks like you tried way harder than you actually did. Amazing.
6. Deer/Doe.
I don't know quite why this is SO COOL, but I'm thinking it might be the fluttery lashes and white dots over the bronzer.
7. Cheshire Cat.
Yes, you can still be a cat for halloween and still be unique -- just draw on that big grin to become the cheshire cat.
8. Pumpkin.
This one is a little dark but also so pretty and smokey. I LOVE the coppery eyeshadow.
9. Skull.
Alright look at this. The glitter. The cheekbones.
10. Broken Doll.
While you can also dress up your face as a normal toy doll with red lips and big red circles on your cheeks for blush, you can also step it up by creating a shattered, broken effect.
11. Rainbow Skull.
I know this is the second skull, but it's RAINBOW!!!
12. David Bowie.
This is a simple yet distuingishable look that you can wear as tribute to Bowie.
13. Spider Man/Woman.
Hey, everyone loves their friendly neighborhood spider(wo)man, right?
Alright, now is your cue to go crazy with your makeup. You know you want to. Have a safe and glittery Halloween!
