In a world full of cute couples and romantic films, it is hard to feel comfortable being single. I have been single my whole life, which may be hard to believe. It's not like I am not interested, I just haven't found "Mr. Right." My message to all the single people out there is that it is okay to be single!

You may feel like you are the "only one" or that you'll be single forever, but that's okay. In today's society, it feels like we must find someone to spend the rest of our lives with right at this very moment. That thought seems crazy to me right now. I am still trying to find myself, how am I supposed to find the person to spend forever with?

To all the people out there who feel pressured to be in a relationship, just know that it is okay to be on your own for a while. There are many benefits to a relationship, but there are also benefits to being single. You get to find yourself in this crazy mess of a world. You have the opportunity to constantly meet new, interesting people. There are so many positive things to go along with not having a romantic relationship.

I'm sure it's awesome to be in a relationship, but it is also awesome to be single. Everyone is different. Whether you are single for right now, married, dating, single for life, or just seeing where life goes, it is all okay! Be who you want to be at this moment in time. No one can tell you who to be. So be single, be married, go on dates, or don't. It's up to you.
