Have you ever felt as though no one knows you exist? Like you're excluded from everything? Maybe no one really goes out of their way to talk to you, or they talk over you when you try to tell a story? No matter which you've felt, if not all of the above, you know it never feels good. You find yourself questioning your worth; maybe you're just not loud enough or interesting enough to talk to, maybe you're too shy to get anyone's attention. You may feel like you should change things about yourself so that others would actually notice you.

I'm here to tell you that your worth is not determined by the way others may or may not treat you. You don't need to change anything about yourself. Anyone who is worth your time will love you as you are while also helping and allowing you to grow into an even more amazing individual. Don't let anyone drag you down. Don't ever feel as though you have to change in order to please others or gain the attention of someone. You are enough and you have so much potential. You're amazing, and your opinion of yourself is what matters.

In turn, be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody. You know how it feels to be treated as if you're invisible, so don't treat others that way. Go out of your way to smile at people and check in on them if they seem down, even if you've never talked to them before. Do what you can to make everyone feel important. Listen to what people have to say and don't exclude anyone. There's not a single person out there who deserves to feel as though they aren't worth anyone's time. You have the opportunity to bring so much joy and laughter to the people around you. What's the harm in making sure the stranger crying in the bathroom is okay? Would it hurt to tell your friends that you appreciate them regularly? Would it take too much time to actually listen to the story someone at your table is telling? You don't realize it, but the way you act towards others and the things you say can have a great impact. You could make someone's day, you could even save someone's life. Never hesitate to make someone smile and you will in turn find joy within the positive reactions of others. Everyone on this planet is important, including yourself. Never forget that and keep striving to spread happiness.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.

Sometimes my brain just starts turning on an idea and it doesn't want to stop.
