The one thing I adore about my boyfriend is that he has taken the time to “break down my walls.” I am a private person and find it difficult to share my personal side with everyone. We have talked about how everyone always says Hi, how are you? As a greeting. But not everyone sincerely wants to know how you are. This article is preaching to everyone to not be the person who just says hi how are you, and not really wanting to know how you are. But to be the person who really pays attention to whoever they are saying how are you to. The most significant people in our lives are the ones who really take the time to get to know us. And most people, need people like that in their lives. In the end, my boyfriend has helped me learn a lot about myself and has taught me to actually be confident and pay attention to myself. I know there is probably more personal interactions that go on in greetings than meets the eye, but I feel like our society hasn’t reached that point yet. Being person and actually paying attention to someone is a wonderful thing, it usually makes someone feel better emotional wise.
