Everyone deserves to be happy.
Pretty cliche, isn't it?
But it is the truth. Nobody or nothing should decide if you are happy or not. Surround yourself with people who make you feel better about yourself and who support you in things that make YOU happy. There is no life law that says you need someone to define your happiness.
But here are 6 ways to keep yourself happy:
Watch a couple episodes of Netflix.
You might have a million responsibilities you have to do, but who cares. Netflix can make you forget about those responsibilities about three episodes in. It's great.
Go buy ice cream.
You really gonna watch Netflix without any ice cream? You might feel bad about yourself at first because you're trying to lay off the sweets, but you'll feel much better once you start eating the deliciousness.
Go for a run. . . ?
You will literally question yourself why over and over again, but you do feel soooo much better afterwards. Plus, gotta run that ice cream off sometime.
Talk to your best friend(s).
Those people who should be some of your biggest supporters? Yes. Rant to them and then they'll give you feedback, uplifting you, and what not. Always good to let it out.
Have a sleepover with the girls.
Forget the boys. Forget the phones. And just have a dance party.
Go shopping.
If this doesn't make you happy, then you have problems. It might make your bank account sad, but it'll make you feel like a new person.
Talk to your momma.
Because she is just the best and can always make you happy.
If you do what makes those around you happy, then you will never be happy yourself.
I know this is a super cliche post, but it is all true. Who cares if doing what makes you happy makes your friends mad. If they were really your friends then they would support you. You're not going to please everyone in this world, so why not just work to make yourself happy. Watch a million episodes on Netflix, eat ice cream, who cares. Just be happy.
