There are several great superheroes that have been created by the Marvel and DC comics. Some of these include Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Spiderman, and Batman. Although these are several of the "greats," I would like to focus on the greatest of them all, Batman. I did not really know who Batman was until I started dating my current boyfriend who happens to be a fan. I went from knowing nothing about Batman to being informed about his entire existence in an instance. So, there are a few reasons that Batman makes the greatest superhero ever, and so far this is what I have learned.

1. He has absolutely no super powers

Batman is just pure human. He has no super powers whatsoever and still manages to conquer evil and save the world (or his world, Gotham).

2. He has his own personal sign and symbol

He has a bat symbol and a signal, all personalized to suit his needs and help the citizens of Gotham and the normal world recognize that it's him.

3. He broke his back and still manages to be awesome

Enough said.

4. He is the world's greatest detective

He beats out Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, and Danny Reagan (Blue Bloods) any day. Batman is the best detective there is. He can find anyone and everyone and doesn't find himself puzzled at even the hardest clues.

5. He has an awesome utility belt and miscellaneous gadgets

His utility belt and his miscellaneous gadgets are super handy if something breaks or he needs assistance conquering the world. It's as simple as that.

6. Batman has a Bat Cave

What do great superheroes have in common? They have a getaway hidden "bunker" where they can think and build and relax. Batman has a Bat Cave, which is specifically named after him. That beats out any ordinary man cave any day.

7. Batmobile

Just like the Bat Cave, Batman has a car named after him and is formed to look like to his "costume." That's just awesome in my opinion.

8. Robin

Batman has a partner in crime to help him with things and bond.

9. He has so many villains who are against him and he beats every single one of them

The Joker, Poison Ivy, Harley, Mr. Freeze, and Bane. Just to name a few.

10. He was trained by Ra's Al Ghul

When the best trains the best, you get a legend.

11. He is a billionaire

Bruce Wayne is not only Batman, but he is a billionaire. He has the best of both worlds.

12. He has beaten the justice league by HIMSELF

Talk about difficult, and he defeated the league by himself? I say that's a win for him!

So, from my point of view Batman may be the best superhero of all time. Everything he does is pretty awesome and he does it alone mostly, which gives him even more credit.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
