Obsessed? Who ME? HA HA HA no. *looks around the room nervously*

You get to a point in college when you start to crave a regular lifestyle again. You miss your bed, cooking in your kitchen, showering without flip flops, and you miss companionship from your pet. Maybe you've never had a pet but you're beginning to feel deep longing for drooly, fuzzy love. If this sounds like you or someone you know, read on to see if you or they are exhibiting any signs of wanting a dog in college.

1. You have no doubt that a dog is what you want (need).

2. It was the only gift on your Holiday wish list.

Sadly, you might have had to settle for the stuffed dog toy that your parents got you as a joke. HA ha Ha HA. They’re a real hoot.

3. You spend an excessive amount of time looking for breeds that match your personality.

How? The only truly reliable source: ONLINE QUIZZES.

4. You have realized that you, in fact, cannot have a dog.

Why? Because you live in a dorm. You've shed some tears.

5. You have thought about ways that you could convince your school that you need a dog.

*If you have been successful in doing so, please contact the author. *

6. To pull yourself out of your dog-less depression, you’ve gone to Pinterest to make a “dog goals” or “future dog” board.

Maybe you made both...or more than both. Oops.

7. You have had an awakening and realized that you could live in off campus housing.

The hunt is on for a “pet friendly” abode.

8. You might have found a great place but your funds seemed to come up short.

You've questioned if you can support a dog while you're living off of peanut butter and Doritos every other night.

9. It is very likely that you have decide to house hunt with a group of people in order to afford your dream.

Your primary concern is obviously about the safety and well being of the pup. You: “You guys want a party house? Where will we put the dog?” Them: “Huh?”

10. Your search history includes: dog shelters, dog breeds, dog videos, pet shops near you, directions to pet shops near you, and directions to the dog shelter.

11. Seeing a dog makes you want to squeal like a little girl.

12. Petting a dog makes you want to squeal like a little girl.

13. Your group chats consist of cute dog videos, derpy dog videos, derpy dog pictures, and dog gifs.

14. You have downloaded dog or baby name apps and combed the Internet on a personal quest to name your pooch.

Forget Fido and Rex, your baby isn’t getting a cookie cutter name!

15. Like the weirdo you are, you have also pre-selected dog supplies before you’ve found your dog.

You have probably also made a wedding Pinterest board even though you don’t have a fiancé or a confirmed relationship.

16. For now you’ll deal with the super fantastic dog gifts that people keep giving you.

17. BUT...deep down you know that one day things will be different.

You'll come home to this.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:
