Each year BCM hosts an annual dinner theatre fundraiser to raise money for college students' summer missions. These students give up part of their summer to serve as missionaries across the Unites States and around the world. This year, The Baptist Collegiate Ministry at LSU dinner theatre presents Stephen Sondheim's “Into The Woods."
“Into The Woods" is a musical, modern twist on Brothers Grimm Fairytales. Some of the classic tales included in the play are Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel. Intertwined with these popular fairytales is the story of a baker and his wife who wish to begin a family, but have been cursed by an ugly witch.
You will not recognize these iconic fairytales once you follow LSU's BCM into the woods. Buy a ticket and grab a couple of friends to help our fellow tigers find their happily ever after during their summer missions.
