If you are new to K-pop, or just need to freshen up on your skills for their comeback, there are a few things you need to know about B.A.P, a K-Pop boy group consisting of six members: Yongguk, Himchan, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Zelo. Their first debut was January 26, 2012 by TS Entertainment, and now they made their comeback with the release of their new single album, Rose, on Mar. 7. So, are you ready to become a Baby?

1. Learning member's names

The first thing you need to know about are the members, of course!

Yongguk is the main rapper and leader. His full name is Bang Yong Guk, and is the "mother" of the group.

Himchan, or Kim Him Chan, is the sub-vocalist, rapper and visuals. Born April 19, 1990, he had only one and a half years of trainee time.

Daehyun, born June 28, 1993, as Jung Daehyun. He is the main vocalist and the face of the group.

Born January 24, 1994, Youngjae (or Yoo Young Jae) is the lead vocalist. He had one year trainee time at JYP before transferring to TS when his debut didn't seem any time soon, spending four years in training there.

Jongup, whose full name is Moon Jongup, is known as the awkward one of the group. He is the main dancer and a vocalist.

The youngest is Zelo whose full name is Choi Jun Hang. Heis the lead rapper, lead dancer and maknae. He had a trainee time of six years and likes fans to call him "oppa."

2. Merch, merch, merch!

Here’s your excuse to buy some cool K-Pop accessories. A t-shirt with the group’s name on it or bracelets showing your devotion are good ways to show your loyalty to the group and fall back into the B.A.P feel. When you sport you memorabilia, people will know you're a fan, and it might help you find others interested in K-Pop.

3. Introduce them to your friends!

You know those Korean guys you keep trying to get your friends to listen to? Now is your chance to show your friends how cool they are and convert them into the K-Pop fandom. A comeback is when you are becoming reacquainted to B.A.P, which is the perfect time to introduce them to your friends. You can learn about them, and fall in love with their new album together.

4. Familiarize yourself with their album

Chances are with their comeback, your favorite group is finally touring the U.S. with a whole album’s worth of songs to listen to. So it’s important to make sure you listen to them all in time for the concert. This way you can sing along (or at least try to) during the live performances. This is something you can do with your K-Pop loving friends, or take it as an excuse to make your other friends listen to them.

5. English subtitles and romanization

So you heard the songs, you’ve picked your favorite, now all you need to know is what it means. Understanding what a song is about beforehand will help you to follow along later when you’re at the concert rocking out, and nd it never hurts to learn the chorus of your favorite song with some easy to follow romanizations of the Korean lyrics. You can find romanized lyrics on YouTube or lyric websites.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
