Being A BANGS Ambassador Changed My Life
Caroline Kredensor

During a time of thankfulness, I’m thankful to be an ambassador for BANGS Shoes. I’m thankful for the people it has connected me to. I’m thankful for how these shoes have helped me. I’m thankful for how these shoes have help others.

Being an ambassador for BANGS Shoes means I promote their shoes on social media and am introduced to other ambassador’s across the country. I get to meet people who are passionate to share their adventures and stories with others. I’ve made so many friends through this program.

BANGS are more than just a shoe company. Their model is “to invest 20% of net profits in helping people start businesses.” They use their shoes to give back to people who need help. Since the start of the company, they have helped invest in 151 entrepreneurs in 43 countries.

The company also inspires adventure. Their Instagram is filled with different people wearing the shoes while doing what they love. The best part is how passionate every ambassador is. The BANGS website explains that, “we are photographers, entrepreneurs, hikers, musicians, painters, graphic designers, baristas, CEOs, bikers, and more. Adventure means something different to each and every member of our community.”

I’m honored to get to be a part of a company that cares so strongly for others.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
