Bananas are the most consumed fruit in the world. Bananas are a natural fountain of energy, potassium, and iron. They are amazingly delicious and inexpensive. I love to eat them and I have been enjoying many banana-based products too. Here's a list of a few of these banana products that you should try!

1-ORS Hair Repair Banana and Bamboo Nourishing Conditioner. Available at drugstores and Amazon.com for 6.99. This conditioner smells delicious, it can be used on any type of hair as a rinse off conditioner or as an overnight deep conditioner. It detangles hair very easily, leaving it shiny, and healthy. The best bargain I have found for my thick and curly hair. Also, available in individual packs.

2-Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candle in Banana Split Milkshake. This candle will absorb any bad odor from your kitchen or bathroom. Leaving it smelling like an ice cream parlor. I only wish I could eat it. But, do not! Now on sale for 10.50 at B&BW stores.

3-Lancome Juicy Shaker Bi-Facil Oil in Banana Split. This lipgloss is moisturizing as a balm and long-lasting as a lipstick. It looks good on the lips and it's not sticky. Available at Macy's stores and at Lancome.com.

4-OlenHenRikSen Truth Banana Bright Eye Creme. This is an excellent eye creme that will help depuff puffy eyelids and prevent wrinkles. Available at Sephora.com

5-ESFOLIO Essence Mask Sheet in Banana. Well, you don't have to break the bank to have flawless skin and pamper yourself. This mask will refresh your face skin while leaving it soft and supple. Available at shopmissa.com for only a dollar.

Now, let's talk about some deliciously banana-flavored beverages...

6-Sir Bananas Banana Milk made with Real Bananas and Low Fat Milk. Available at groceries stores and supermarket. This banana milk is very tasty and a refreshing after-school snack. It's a good way of not skipping breakfast. Have a glass of this banana milk as part of your breakfast meal. It will leave you full and energized. This is a good choice if you have breakfast on the go or are a breakfast skipper. Also, available in chocolate banana milk.

7-Jamaican Choice Citadelle Taste of the Island Banana Soda. Available at supermarkets such as ShopRite and Pathmark. Oh, my God! I have never heard of or seen banana soda. One day I was browsing through the soda aisle and another customer suggested it. I tried it and fell in love with it. It's very bubbly, sweet, and thirst quenching. This soda will have you wanting to drink a whole bottle on your own. But, of course, be moderate with this and any sugary drink. 2-Litter bottles retail for 1.69.

8-Last but not least, Chiquita Bananas!!! Like I said before, bananas are very filling, they are a natural source of energy. And even nutritionist have recommended those who are trying to lose weight. To eat a medium size banana after working out instead of an energy drink. Bananas are filled with potassium, which is a natural fat absorber and energy booster. There are many recipes you can make with bananas. Bananas can be even eaten boiled when they are green! Plus, bananas cost only around 50 cents a pound. Ripen brown bananas can be used for homemade hair masks and conditioners.

You'll be bananas without bananas in your life!!!!

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
