I once met a girl at the age of eighteen,
She was the most stellar gal I ever did seen.
The moment I saw her, I knew I would never be the same.
I felt I had heard the universe screaming my name.
Her feet were bare, her hair was grey,
Her skin matched the color of the milky way.
Her eyes were as big as Saturn, her lips were as red as mars.
The freckles that dotted her cheeks reminded me of the stars.
She told me that life among planets was all she´s ever known
And that running with the comets was her only true home.
She cried ¨Help me, I´m ready to leave this place
I need you to take me back to outer space.¨
So she took my hand and to the cosmos we sped
¨I can never go back.¨ I looked to her and said.
And I never did come home, but for all that it´s worth
I´ll give my regards to mother Earth.
