Many people struggle with money on a daily basis. They struggle to make sure they have enough money to make it through the week and make sure they have enough just to survive. Having money to survive is very important. Without any money, a person would not be able to have the things needed for basic survival like food, water shelter, and things needed for hygiene. The key is to knowing if you have saved and balanced your money properly is that if you buy all your basic necessities and have a little left over for fun you have done it correctly. However if you spend all of it and have no money left over you have done it wrong. Some ways to save are to only buy the things you need and save the things you want for another time when you as a working person can afford them.

Having money can be a good thing but at the same time it can be a bad thing. It can be a bad thing because acquiring too much money can turn the nicest of people into the greediest of people. Having too much money is not necessary a good or a bad thing. It can be good because having more money, means all the bills will be paid and that balance between working and having a social life can be perfectly balanced. Having very little money can be a struggle as seen world wide. Many people in other countries and in several cities across the world struggle with poverty, for example the continent of Africa is a huge example because of their lack of clean water and lacks of food for children and anyone to eat. If you balance your money properly and save enough of it you will be able to get above the poverty line.

Learning how to balance and save money at a young age, will be beneficial to anyone in the long run. The reason why is that you will already have money saved into a bank account and as you get more money you will be able to see that number increase over time. Having that number increase over time will help you out because there will alert be cash unless you spend it incorrectly or on something you didn't really need to buy, at that particular moment in time. Having money and saving it correctly was and always will be a struggle for many people world wide. If you do it right you will be successful if you do it wrong then you will be in debt and will have to learn your lesson. Remember money is a very important aspect of life today and always will be forever. If it is saved you will be alright and will be financially in the clear, if not you will be in the red other wise known as debt which is a problem many Americans struggle with daily.

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
