Bad Moms

If you thought I was going to tell you that moms are horrible well you clicked on the wrong article. Really my plan was just to make you click on this so that you can read it. I hope I did a good job.

On Friday, June 29th the movie Bad Moms premiered. In all honesty, it was a great movie and no worries I won't spoil it for y'all. I will say this: go watch it! Like I promise you the movie is not just about alcohol and drunk moms. It is more than that.

The movie does a good job in portraying several types of mothers.

1. You have the single mother who works for her and her son. She also drops him off for their practice but does not really stay to watch. But really, who can blame her? Sometimes, practices and games are so long.

2.Then you have the mother that is juggling her job, makes sure her kids are in extracurricular activities, also makes sure that they are doing good in school, and on top of that cooks dinner. Like wow! Honestly, as I watched the movie I began thinking of all of the things my own mom does and it is a lot and I forget to say thank you. As I watched the movie I remembered the times when my mom would cook and I would say mean stuff like "Ugh, okay I guess, I'll eat that" But after I watched the movie and paid close attention to all the things moms do, I realized I was the bad child and not my mom.

3. The movie portrays a stay at home mom. For those that do not know stay at homes are supposedly the ones that do no work at all and do not contribute to the household. But WRONG! Literally, even though a stay at home mom may not contribute financially she does several things. Like think about it who cleans & folds the clothes for you, who cooks for you, who takes/ who watches you at your events. Should I even continue? The list is really long, but hopefully you understand that stay at home moms also deserve recognition. If you do not, I guarantee you that by the end of Bad Moms you will sort of, if not fully understand .

4. Do not let looks fool you. In the movie there are a couple of moms that are perfect. They make it seem as if being a mother is easy and if you are not doing the things they are doing then you are the bad mom. However, you are not and no, if your mommy does not do all the things these mom do they are not bad. It's just that moms, like anyone else manage their time differently and that is okay.

Anyway, I can keep going on how great this movie was but there was also some flaws that Hollywood should fix. But that can probably be discussed in another article. Yet, do go watch it and remember Moms are not bad.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
