10 Bad Boys We Grow To Love In TV Shows

It is a big trend to have somebody with a "bad boy" persona in TV Shows. They are bad and sometimes vicious but they always have something about them that gives them a soft side whether it is a family member or a significant other. Here are 10 bad boy's we have grown to love in some of our favorite TV shows.

Klaus Mikaelson (The Vampire Diaries and The Originals)

Played by: Joesph Morgan

Klaus is originally the villain from the show The Vampire Diaries but then you get to know more about him and his family in The Originals. Klaus is an original vampire and hybrid meaning he is the hardest to kill and he knows it. He is the ultimate bad boy in both of the shows and is not the guy you want to mess with. You still see hints of his soft side when it comes to his love for Caroline in TVD and later Camille in The Originals. However, when you really see it is when he has a daughter. So, if you mess with the biggest monster's daughter, you are screwed, which makes us love him more.

Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries)

Played by: Ian Somerhalder

Damon is another bad boy on The Vampire Diaries but remains in The Vampire Diaries. He is the "bad brother" of the Salvatore brothers who is also in love with the main character Elena Gilbert. His love for Elena is where you see his soft side. Damon is a handsome self-destructing vampire who does bad things because he refuses to live up to people's expectations. He is a loved character for his humor, charm and bad boy persona.

Billy Hargrove (Stranger Things)

Tenor

Played by: Dacre Montgomery

Billy Hargrove's character was introduced in season 2 of Stranger Things and became popular for his good looks and bad boy persona. He also is a bit of a jerk in season 2 and you see that he takes after his father who wasn't good to him. Season 3 gives Billy more of a depth of character that keeps up his bad boy persona but also gives you more of an understanding on why he is the way he is. The mystery this character gives off is what makes him so appealing and in depth.

Nicholas Scratch (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina)

Wattpad

Played by: Gavin Leatherwood

Nick Scratch is a warlock in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina who goes to school with Sabrina at the Academy of Unseen Arts. In the beginning Nick is the attractive bad boy who flirts with Sabrina and is very interested in knowing her during season 1 and constantly reminds Harvey (current boyfriend) on how lucky he is. Season 2 the bad boy finally gets the girl and you see Nick's soft side for Sabrina, and you also get to know more about him.

Richie Gecko (From Dusk Till Dawn)

Richie Gecko is the younger brother of the infamous Gecko brothers who are seen robbing a bank and escaping to Mexico. Richie has a darker twist to him because his mind is easily messed with by Santanico. After the brothers run into a mess at a bar they start living very supernatural lives and Richie becomes a Culebra himself (like a vampire). Richie is an attractive bad boy with a twisted mind but will always have a soft spot for his brother, Kate Fuller and later Santanico. His in depth character makes Richie one of the most interesting characters in the show.

James Cook is in the second generation of the UK show Skins, who often goes by "Cook." Cook is a bad boy who seems like he doesn't have a care in the world or any feeling towards people. Cook messes up a lot but then at times is the most loyal friend the characters have. Cook gets mixed up with his best friend Freddie because of their love for the same girl, Effy, but in the end, will still be there for both of them. Cook is the best bad boy of the show and creates a very in depth character.

Charles Brandon (The Tudors)

Charles Brandon is a friend of Henry VIII and becomes a Duke/ President of the Privy Council in the show The Tudors. Charles is a bad boy who is a big player in the show. Jasper Frost starts out as the security detail who black mails Princess Eleanor in the show The Royals. As the show goes on you watch the bad boy who acts like he is tough and doesn't have feelings, fall for the Princess. Although Jasper messes up a good amount you can't help but ship Princess Eleanor with her bad boy security guard. They end up being one of the cutest couples in a TV show.

The best thing about the bad boy persona in the TV shows is they are usually one of the most dynamic characters in the show. There is always multiple sides to them that makes them all the more interesting. I hope you enjoyed this list of bad boys in TV shows. Who is your favorite bad boy?

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
