It’s that time of year again! Everyone is heading back to school. College move in days are upon us. We are constantly being bombarded with Target ads about the next big thing that we need before heading back to our dorms. It’s a little overwhelming, yet extremely exciting. Luckily, "Parks and Recreation" is there to accurately describe all the emotions we are currently feeling.

1. Back to school shopping can be totally terrifying.

2. It’s been three months since you’ve seen your roommate, and your reunion is going to go a little like this...

3. Moving back in also means that you have to start taking classes again...and doing homework again.

4. You look at your class schedule and find out that you have an 8 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

5. On the bright side, you have tons of food options now, and yet pizza still accounts for 90 percent of your meals.

6. Since you’re not at home with your parents, you have to relearn how to act like the independent adult that you pretend you are.

7. Even though it’s only the first week of classes, you look at your syllabus and start counting the days before finals week.

8. The weekends you get to spend with your friends at school are way more fun than the ones you spend at home.

9. Being back on campus means having your job back — and that means a direct deposit is calling your name.

10. Even though it’s very stressful to be back, you know it’s going to be an amazing year.

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
