Reuniting with your hometown during Thanksgiving break can be very nostalgic and very rewarding. We take for granted the different towns we grew up in and learn how to appreciate these towns when we are away at college. To be honest, I was someone who didn't appreciate my hometown enough. While being away at college, being away from "The Brook" has made me appreciate my time there more and the memories I made with my friends and family.
Here are some fun things to do over Thanksgiving Break:
1. Visit your high school.
My best friend and I will definitely be visiting old teachers, teachers whom supported and guided us through high school tremendously.
2. Go into the City with your friends.
I know for sure my friends and I will be having a city day. The time spent together will enable us to re create more fun memories. TBT to that time I tripped in front of that cab @ EMILY :) .
3. Eat food together
As silly as this sounds, my high school friends and I loved eating food together. My best friends kitchen was my favorite thing to exist. The freshly baked cookies my best friends mom would bake, and the deli food my other best friends dad would have always made me extra excited to go over to there houses. So remember to have those dinner dates aka BAMBOU dates.
4. Shop together
Style when your away at college is very important. It is important to dress your best. Take this time to hit up your favorite stores with your friends and family.
Have a great break!!
