7 Reasons 'The Bachelorette' Is The Best Guilty Pleasure

'The Bachelorette' is a hit show currently airing on ABC, and it is WILD. If you don't watch it, here are seven reasons why you should.

7 Reasons 'The Bachelorette' Is The Best Guilty Pleasure

1. You can choose your favorite and root for them.

Everyone has a favorite. The guy that you think is the cutest, sweetest, and that the Bachelorette would be crazy not to pick. We don't always pick the same guy she does, but it's fun to root for someone.

2. You can spend the entire season being incredibly jealous of the Bachelorette's killer wardrobe.

Lots of sparkles, lots of designers, and lots of jealous American women wishing they had access to her closet.

3. The boys get ruthless.

The drama is way more amusing on the Bachelorette (when there's a bunch of guys) than it is on the Bachelor (when there's a bunch of girls). The boys definitely get crazy. There's always a few hotheads who want to assert their masculinity at any given moment.

4. You can watch their incredible dates, knowing you'll never experience them.

Stomping grapes on a private vineyard in Spain, private shows at the Moulin Rouge, hot tubbing in the middle of the desert, private concerts... The list of extraordinary dates is long.

5. Chris Harrison.

Chris is one of the best hosts ever. He has a great sense of humor and some great commentary.

6. There is always one psycho.

It never fails that every season there is (at least) one person who is absolutely insane. They cause tons of unnecessary drama, somehow last for several weeks, and thoroughly amuse all viewers.

7. You can pretend you're the Bachelorette and pick who you would keep/send home.

This is one of my favorite parts of watching this show. Some fans even create brackets (like March Madness) and bet money on it. It gets intense.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
