Last Monday was the season finale of "The Bachelorette."
Now, I have really only started watching "The Bachelor"/"Bachelorette" recently. I am still very much a novice in this world. That being said, I have been a "How I Met Your Mother" fan for several years now. "The Bachelorette" is my guilty pleasure show, and here is the finale told by my favorite show of all time.
After the fiasco of saying goodbye to golden boys Luke and Chase, I think it is safe to say that we were all a little confused and upset. Or maybe it was just me.
Nevertheless, JoJo was down to the last two guys: Jordan and Robby. And they would be spending the last week in beautiful Thailand. The Bachelorette was rockin' and rollin'.
The time had come for the final two men to meet JoJo's family. First to meet the fam was Jordan. In true Jordan Rodgers fashion, he showed up confident and likable. He said everything right, except for the one important question we all expected him to ask. Then Robby came with his sweet and sincere demeanor. He presented himself to be the perfect fit as a husband and lifelong partner.
When it came down to what her family thought, they held glowing reviews for both of them. But they all agreed that Robby was more marriage material.
And when her family told her that Jordan didn't ask them for their blessing of their marriage she was like...
Which lead to a lot of confusion for our poor Joelle. As she seemingly was falling in love with both of them, it was still unclear as to who she would choose.
The Bachelorette was feeling very emotionally distraught, her heart being pulled in all different directions.
In the end, JoJo had to go with her gut, and pick the guy she felt the strongest connection toward. That despite what the world thought or the decision that would make the most sense, she had to follow her heart (cliche, I know).
All and all, I truly hope that she found everything she was looking for. That no matter what happens, she finds happiness in the long run. Congratulations to Jordan and JoJo. Even if it is not the most ideal process to meet someone, I hope it was worth it in the end.
