Bachelorete Of The Week: Morgan Noonan

Iowa was lucky enough to be blessed with this week's bachelorette, Morgan Noonan. The active sophomore recently transferred from University of Missouri this year and is already taking campus by storm with her creativity, sense of humor, and an amazing blog to document every step she takes along the way.

Where are you from? Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

What year are you? Sophomore.

What are you studying? Journalism with a Spanish Minor.

What sorority are you in? Delta Gamma.

What are your interests? Music, Food, Dance, Writing, Spoon University, CAB, Scary Movies, Traveling.

Favorite music? Indie vibes like Bear’s Den, Nathaniel Rateliff, Young the Giant.

Most embarrassing story? I went to Mizzou last year and I was talking to a boy at a party and my nose started bleeding. I had to sit by myself in the corner with a tissue up my nose for the remaining duration of the night.

Celeb crush? Hugh Grant and Dermot Mulroney

What qualities are you looking for in a guy? Someone really smart. Maybe with a man bun.

Perfect date? Arts and crafts followed by a “Jordan Belfort” dance party, followed by a poetry reading, followed by Summit, followed by crêpes and Portlandia.

Have you ever been in love? If not, why? If so, tell us your love story! Does going to Bluebird every Friday morning count?

Where are you most likely to be during the week/weekend? Probably Java or AJB during the week and Kinnick/Liner/Summit/Panch (in that order) during the weekend.

Any advice for interested men? Call me on my cell-phoonnneee. I’m not one of those girls who say they’re weird and they’re not, I actually am.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
