The Bachelor: My Predictions

As most of you may know, one of the most popular television shows, The Bachelor, recently made it's debut a few weeks ago. And if most of you have been a die hard fan for the past 100 years like me, then you were pretty excited to see Ben Higgins as the bachelor himself.

During the Bachelorette last season, we all fell in love with Ben. His personality beams, and not to mention that breath taking smile of his. Ben being only 26 years old, an Indiana University grad, and a guy with all the qualities you could ever want in a man, Ben easily ranks one of the best bachelors to appear on the show.

Now like every season, the drama lives on, the tears begin to flow, and love beings to fall right in front of everyone. With only being two weeks into the show, we don't know to much about the girls but enough to make a good prediction on what's to come, heres what I think:

1. In every good season of The Bachelor, one contestant will win your first impression, but first impressions seem to take a turn once the cameras keep rolling. Like in many past seasons we see one someone who seems perfect, has it together, and we believe something good will come out of this, and just when you think she or he is the front runner, things take a dramatic turn. This season that lucky girl will be Olivia. The stunning blonde who is from Austin, Texas who left her news anchor job to find love. Now at first like many others, she seemed great, beautiful, nice, and you could tell Ben seemed smitten. With that all being said, Ben did end up giving her the first impression rose, which we all saw coming. But then things seemed to change when episode two rolled around. Olivia is now what I would call, "playing the game". She is becoming territorial, wants to marry Ben, and could care less about any of the other girls in the house. I'm calling it now, the main source of the drama and the one who will shock us all will be Olivia.

2. Now it's not all drama when it comes to every single girl. Every season there are a group of girls that I would like to label: The Ones That Got Away. Every season we see great potential wives and husbands that never end up being the chosen one at the end of the show. I think this season there will be plenty of those, to name a few, Caila and Jubilee. Two great girls, Caila being in the same profession as Ben and a hopeless romantic, and Jubilee a strong women who even defended our country. These girls will go far, but they won't be "the one". These are the types of girls Ben should marry, but he won't.

3. Lastly, who will win it all? Who will get the proposal of a lifetime and become Mrs.Higgins? It is tough to say being so early in the show but from what the internet blogs have began to say, and my personal opinion, it's going to be an underdog. Ben has a calming personality, he doesn't want drama, and with that being said, he will go for the girl thats not into all that. At the end of the season Ben will end up with someone who we didn't place at the top of our list and someone we would have never expected. Id place bets on Jo Jo and Lauren B, but I guess we will have to wait and see!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
