This season's production of "Bachelor in Paradise" has been suspended amidst claims of misconduct, according to representatives for the show.
Past that, there isn't much else being confirmed about this season of production.
The host of the show, Chris Harrison, along with the others in the franchise has spoken on the matter. He provided a statement to "Good Morning America," according to ABC News, saying "The safety and care of the cast and crew of our show are of the utmost importance to us. It is with this thought in mind that we made the decision to suspend filming."
Other parts of the statement include, "Out of respect to all involved, there's only so much I can and will say at this time. Normally with a situation like this, I would not say anything until the incident is fully resolved, but with all the rumors and misinformation being put out there I don't find that to be possible anymore." Harrison also said Warner Bros. is "handling all the details of that investigation. They're moving quickly to gather all the facts, and once that's done a clear concise decision can be made about where we go from here,"
Now everyone is wondering, what is the "misconduct," and who was involved?
According to chatter online, the two involved were Corinne Olympios (the villain from Nick's season of "The Bachelor") and DeMario Jackson (contestant on Rachel's current season of "The Bachelorette," who has *SPOILER* already been kicked off).
Their misconduct has not been confirmed, but has been heavily rumored that it was sexual in nature. Even though the franchise as a whole has not always been taken seriously by viewers (for example: the multitudes of memes and GIFs created from each season of the show), this matter is something that should not be joked about at all. The premise of the franchise revolves around falling in love, and "Bachelor in Paradise" is centered around the idea that previous contestants on the other shows have that second chance at love. With a show revolved around falling in love, affection among the cast is to be expected, so to say that what occurred was wrong or too much, is a bold statement from producers. Therefore, this situation should be taken seriously.
What we've heard from the contestants of this season on social media:
DeMario Jackson - A list of what he needs on Twitter on June 9th, with the last being "I need one of the twins to be named after me @Beyonce"
Raven Gates - She first tweeted out "I'm heartbroken about BIP. 💔" She also retweeted previous BIP contestant Wells Adams and his comments on the show and his experience:
"I'm only describing my journey there and I'd ask before you pass any judgement or say hurtful things to anyone about this, you remember that there is a lot unknown and untold. Understand that my perception and experience is only mine to tell, but it's an honest one and one that I will cherish forever." To see the full tweet, click here.
Corinne Olympios - Radio silent on Twitter since May 30, 2017. Her last post on Instagram, June 8th, was a post of Elmo photobombing her.
Taylor Nolan - "Good people make bad things better. Incredibly thankful for friends, family, chosen family, and this very special bachelor fam ❤️ #ripbip4" on Twitter on June 12th.
Amanda Stanton - Nothing related to this season of BIP on Twitter or Instagram.
Alexis Waters - She also retweeted Wells, but nothing else related to the suspension of the show.

Jasmine Goode - She tweeted out on June 12th, "So much fake news out there swirling around 🙄"

Alex Woytkiw - "My mind is officially blown. I don't even know, mannnnn" I'm not sure if it is the situation with BIP that is blowing his mind, or maybe Netflix's original show "Bloodline" that he later tweeted about, or if it is something completely unrelated, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
I encourage readers to take the TMZ reports with a grain of salt. I plan to continue to read and listen to what is revealed in the future by credible sources. I wish the best to all involved. Stay strong Bachelor Nation, and let's watch Rachel find her man!
