Three Engagements and a Crying Nick

Well tonight the summer hit show, Bachelor in Paradise, sadly came to a close. Although it marks the end of a summer of drinking, drama, fights, hookups, and love, Bachelor in Paradise ended with three engagements and as to be expected, a crying Nick.

She may have originally been repulsed by him, but Carly managed to fall in love with the awkward and uncomfortable erectile dysfunction specialist, Evan! The couple, both equally weird in their own ways, had a fittingly weird and corny engagement. Carly has even begun to slowly move in with Evan in Nashville.

From the start, Amanda and Josh completely hit it off. Josh prevailed over his bad reputation to win Amanda's love and affection. The couple topped off their time in paradise with an engagement, as was to be expected. Josh has since moved to where Amanda lives and has met her daughters.

By far my favorite couple of this season, Lace and Grant, better known by their relationship name "Grace" ended their drama and tumultuous time in paradise with an engagement. Few people could calm down and mellow Lace out so I think viewers were pleased when Grant swept her off her feet and won her heart.

As to be expected, Nick ended paradise in tears because his feelings for Jen were not as strong as they should have been. While everyone is sad Nick hasn't found love, he will be the next Bachelor which will make for another great season for the franchise.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.
