If "The Bachelor" Contestants Were SEC Schools

We all love cheering on our favorite team, and nothing changes when it comes to watching the Bachelor.

Another season of the "Bachelor" is upon us, and while Nick is trying to find love we get to watch the drama unfold between the women. After watching the first couple of episodes, I started to see similarities between some of the girls and SEC schools. Which one are you?

1. University of Arkansas

Raven. Now this one should not be a shocker. The first time she stepped out of the limo, Raven taught Nick how to call the Hogs. I guess the saying is true, "You can take the girl out of Arkansas, but you can't take the Arkansas out of the girl." The University of Arkansas and Raven are all about southern pride. WOO PIG SOOIE!

2. LSU

Alexis. Dolphin girl has quickly become one of my favorites. While I love her comic relief amongst all of the drama, the girl is insane. Who else has a birthday party for their boobs? As I'm sure we can all relate to, LSU has a fiery hatred towards all those against them (Auburn in particular) and Alexis is no different. She is a shark confused as a dolphin and well, LSU is confused about what it means to be a "winner."

3. University of Alabama

Corrine. This comparison is pretty self-explanatory. Like the University of Alabama, Corrine is the one you just love to hate. From interrupting other girls one-on-one time to having a weird whip cream fetish, Corrine can't get enough of Nick. Kind of like how Alabama can't get enough of bragging, well until recently anyway.

4. Auburn University

Danielle M. Auburn and Danielle M. are the epitome of grace and class. Danielle M. works with babies, came back from a traumatic heartbreak, and makes handmade gifts. Just like Auburn, how could you not love her? Both Danielle M. and Auburn have that classy air to them that even if they don't win a game or get a one-on-one date, they still handle it with utmost respect and grace.

5. Texas A&M

Rachel. Texas A&M is a school that knows their goals and won't let anything stop them from achieving what they set out to do. Rachel is the same way in that she knows herself and wears confidence regularly. Her confidence in herself is actually what landed her the first impression rose. She and Texas A&M are both very respectable and definitely contenders in their fields.

6. Vanderbilt University

Taylor. Vanderbilt prides themselves on their academic accomplishments, and Taylor is no different. Taylor has made it clear that she has brains along with beauty and wants Nick to see that. She just finished school to become a mental health counselor and who knows, maybe Raquel will be her next patient when she's released from Corrine.

7. Ole Miss

Vanessa. Ole Miss students come across as very preppy on the outside and Vanessa likes to put forth an image too. On her first one-on-one date with Nick the floating became too much and she let it all go (literally). Nick seemed to like it though and even gave her a nice kiss to commemorate their gravity-defying time together. Score one for Vanessa.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
